Cookie Policy

Effective 2026-10-07 · Last updated 2026-10-07

This policy explains the cookies and browser storage openreserve.app uses, why, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

In plain English: We use what the website needs to work. No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels.

1. What cookies and browser storage are

In plain English: Small pieces of data a website keeps in your browser.

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Browser storage (such as local storage) works similarly but stays on your device and is not sent with every request. Both let a website remember things between pages and visits, such as the fact that you are signed in.

2. What we use

In plain English: Sign-in and security, payment fraud prevention, and your preferences.

We do not use advertising cookies, we do not allow advertising networks or data brokers to place cookies or pixels on our site, and we do not track you across other websites.

3. Your choices

In plain English: There is nothing to opt into: we only use what the site needs.

We use only strictly necessary cookies and storage, which the site needs to work, so we do not show a consent banner. If we ever add optional cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

We treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (which we do not do). There is no common standard for "Do Not Track" signals; because we do not track you across websites, our practices are the same whether or not your browser sends one.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, signing in and paying may not work.

4. Our apps

In plain English: The apps do not use cookies.

Our mobile apps do not use cookies. They keep your sign-in in your device's secure storage (the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore) and store your preferences on the device.

5. Changes and contact

In plain English: If this changes, we update this page.

We will update this policy if the cookies we use change; the date at the top shows the latest revision. Questions: hello@openreserve.app.
